St. Paul

Saint Paul, also called Paul the Apostle, the Apostle Paul or Paul of Tarsus was a Hellenistic Jew, who called himself the

"Apostle to the Gentiles" and was, together with Saint Peter and James the Just, the most notable of early Christian missionaries. His efforts to accept gentile converts and to define the Torah as superseded by Christ were successful and "decisive."

Spotlight Club

Spotlight is a Women's Group made up of members of the congregation.

Our Motto: To shine forward in Christian Unity.

Our Aims:
To encourage families and young children in the Church and the Community.

To encourage people to participate in and plan recreational activities.

To enhance the Group's health, social and educational welfare.

To build up our life together in Christ and to promote fellowship among Christian women through worship, prayer, and service.

To make occasional donations to charities of the Group's choice.

To promote good family life and create among women an awareness to be responsible citizens.

To support joint activities sponsored by the Church at Parochial, Deanery level, as well as providing a means for circulating information among females in the church.

Membership to Spotlight Group is open to all women in the Church and in the community.

The Spotlight Club meets every third Thursday of the month. Among other things, they organise outings for Church members to a number of places. Last year, they went to Wicksteed and here are the photos to prove it!
